Project Description

For my final project in Creative Coding at NYU, I created a program that provides more information on the crisis of homelessness, and resources to help.

Built in Processing, the program includes several interactive elements that balance engagement with the necessary sensitivity towards the topic.

This project has been shown to later course cohorts as the exemplary standard for the final project.

To further improve upon the program, I would first change the format, as the incompatible of Processing counteracts the goal of spreading awareness surrounding the issue.

Target Audience

Individuals experiencing homelessness were not my target audience because the method in which the information is presented is inconvenient and restricted if the goal is to find resources applicable to an individual’s situation.

By directing the program at those who might not know where to help, or may have misconceptions about individuals experiencing homelessness, the program’s purpose becomes more impactful.
